Owner of Joinery, Ing. Petr Šilhanek MBA, graduated initially in mechanical engineering at CTU and then MBA from the University of Pittsburg. For 15 years he was Director of Caterpillar (“CAT”) Financial Services for Central European Countries.
After leaving CAT, he began to reconstruct his own house. But he was so disgusted with the quality and unreliability of the joiners in Prague that he decided to train as a joiner at 45 and set up his own joinery. And as CAT is the best in his field, he also decided to build the best joinery in Prague.
The entire company is built on German principles, machines and software. Here you can see the German software IMOS at a price of half a million crowns. The latter, on the one hand, allows even the invisible to be seen. He manages the entire production himself. So it can't happen that the joiner cut something wrong. Instead of a carpenter, there is a robot.
Here, for example, you can see the detail of the beauty table. While some joiners use cheap or even free software, IMOS allows you to think through and cut furniture to tenths of a millimeter.
IMOS sends your order to the best sawmill in the world, Altendorf. There are only 6 of them in the Czech Republic, of which 3 are in Škoda Auto. Because the saw is controlled by a robot and is electro-driven, it cuts with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. The material when cutting “floats” in the air so as not to scratch.
Poorly made furniture, even custom-made ones, you can even recognize that the connection of the edge with the countertop is visible. In order not to see this with our custom-made furniture, we chose the best on the market again for the olep edges: the German Homag. Its accuracy is again 0.1 mm.
Because we follow German standards and we have “manners” from CAT, we will deliver the furniture exactly on time. This is made possible by our strict project management.
We do not use external installers who do not know anything about your order. Furniture will be assembled by the same people who have been supervising the “robots” that made your furniture all the time. They're all joiners. By the way, we accept only 10% of the best, only 0.5% in preparation for production.
In order to fit your furniture to tenths of a millimeter, we already use gauges with increased transmittance when focusing. We decided to make only the highest quality furniture from only the highest quality components.
If you can get something on the European market, consider it to be available here. How about a round mirror with a diameter of two meters recessed into a dressing table without legs?
